 Ever wanted to jump like Jackie Chan or kick like Chuck Norris? Well our girls have, and this week they had the chance to give it a go in our after school Kick Boxing class.

At More House we aim for our girls to grow into strong independent and confident young women and encourage them to have fun along the way. With this in mind, Miss Maher began our very own Kick Boxing club yesterday to teach the girls how to jab, kick and throw a hook punch!

Kickboxing is an excellent way to get in shape, tone the body and learn how to defend yourself. It can make you stronger, fitter, more confident and more disciplined.

The after school club was entirely voluntary but attracted a room full of excited girls buzzing with energy and eager to learn. First they warmed up and learnt some of the moves before putting on the gloves and putting all their trust in their partners – practicing some quick hits to the pads.

As the session progressed so did the girls and all I can say is watch this space – or perhaps, watch your backs!
