It’s hard to believe this time last week the girls were getting on trams around Place de la Comédie in Montpellier on their way back for dinner with their host families.
Every day the girls had class in the LSF language school in Montpellier from 9am-12.30pm where there was no English spoken and they were fully immersed in the French language. The girls worked hard and although it was tough going at times (especially during the half term holidays) each girl improved their pronunciation and comprehension. After lunch at LSF the girls took part in several activities with Miss Brown and Mr. Carroll including, a guided walking tour around Montpellier, an Ice Skating Disco, a trip to the Zoo, a day trip to Nîmes and a lot of shopping in the centre of Montpellier. I’m sure the girls will never forget the week they spent with their “French families” and have plenty of stories to share of their first hand experiences of French culture.
