Dear Parents,

I hope you all had a wonderful Easter with your families and friends. It was lovely to open the door on Thursday to sunny weather and lots of smiles.

I was lucky enough to go on the ski trip to America where we had a fabulous time. We spent most of the week skiing in Sugarloaf, Maine and then there was no way that the girls were going to let us come home without some serious shopping and sightseeing in New York City. We had so many comments from people about how well behaved and polite the girls were and how supportive they were of each other. Miss Minto writes ‘The week was a wholly enjoyable experience; I cannot express enough how delightful all the girls were. There were so many smiles, laughs and unforgettable memories made. Well done everyone, you all excelled yourselves.

A special well done to:

Every beginner skier who picked herself up after a fall and carried on with enthusiasm and commitment.

All the award winners, especially Alex who was crowned Ski Tripper of the week.

All the ‘Wally’s of the Week’ who wore the silly hat with pride and good spirit.

The senior students who made a massive effort to support the younger students throughout the week.

The supporting teachers who were, as ever, reliable, dependable and enthusiastic at all times and ensured maximum safety and happiness of all students throughout the week.’

I know that Miss Minto is already booking next year’s trip!

SKI TRIP NEW YORK

In the courtyard at lunch time today we took the House photographs. This is always a lovely reminder for the present House Captains, who are in the Upper 6th and are about to go off on study leave.
