It has been very strange this week walking around the school, as it has been heads down, with all the girls sitting exams, both internal and external. We still managed to have some fun on Wednesday evening, by donning pink running vests to take part in the 5K Race for Life at Battersea Park. It was a glorious evening and over £1500 has been raised so far. If you would still like to donate to such a worthy cause then our Just Giving page is: https://www.justgiving.com/morehouseunite/
Today we celebrated with the Year 11’s the end of their exams with a huge bowl of strawberries and cream. Although they have an extended summer holiday ahead of them, many of them are still coming in to school, for PE, rehearsing for the summer concert and helping out at various events.
What a contrast next week is going to be! On Monday the choir are off to Thorpe Park. Not to sing, but to enjoy the rides as a treat for all their hard work throughout the year. Then on Friday we celebrate St Thomas More Day, with Mass at St Mary’s Cadogan Street in the morning, followed by House Rounders at Falcon Park in Battersea SW11. The reason why we cannot be at Battersea Park this year is due to the Formula E car racing competition. Please come and join us on our Feast Day.
Have a lovely weekend,
