The rain fell on Boppard but spirits were not dampened on Day 2 in the Rhineland. We started the day (of course with outfit of the day) followed by a trip to a pool in Koblenz and to a bowling alley where there was some friendly competition on show. It was Katharine Oakes who was the victorious bowler. She claims this was because she wore her lucky colour. Can you guess what it is?
After bowling there was some down time in the afternoon. This was clearly the calm before the storm. After dinner we had the ‘warm up’ for the talent show. If this was the warm up… we are in for a real show on Thursday night. Some of the highlights included Maia getting everyone up off their seats and on to the dance floor with her rendition of ‘Titanium’, Sophina tap dancing to a song from Chicago and Phoebe and Genevieve singing the Cup Song.
Rumour has it that there will be a very special Glastonbury themed one off performance on Thursday evening…
A boat to St. Goar in hopefully better weather awaits us tomorrow alongside a trip to Rheinfels Castle and a bird’s eye view of Boppard from a cable car.
Bis morgen!
Mr Carroll
