It seems as though just yesterday we were all flooding in through the More House doors in early September however days have come and gone and we are at the end of this long, cold and tiring autumn term. For the year 7s, this term has been about settling in and exploring what More House has to offer. For the Sixth Form, this term has meant many deadlines for University applications and coming to terms with the little time we have left at More House.
To say this term has been busy is an understatement: Sports day, Prizegiving, Guys and Dolls, Informal concerts, Year 6 induction/interview days, Mores Household events, Student Council meetings, Carol services, trips, information evenings, charity events, House challenges, Christmas fair/jumper day/lunch and much more has happened over the last few months.
The choir, all the singers, 8T’s sketch, bell ringers, guitar club and instrument players were amazing at last night’s Christmas concert and it was great to talk to some year 6’s again after their taster days/interviews. Well done to everyone who took part!
As we are approaching Christmas and a New Year, it is time to step back and appreciate things we have done and things that are to come. I have no doubt next term will be just as exciting for all of us.
I wish everyone a safe and Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year!
